Tennis world number one player Serena Williams is pleasingly waving to the crowd on Saturday for her straight set victory against Monica Niculescu of Romania at Key Biscayne. What else can we expect from her? She did it again! She just showed how happy she is for her another success with no sign of her knee injury. If you can remember, Serena Williams withdrew at Indian Wells for semi-final because of her injury but now Serena played without a wrap on her knee. Serena said to one of the interviews that during her practice, there was a little sore but when she was in the game, she doesn’t not feel any ache nor any lingering effects. This is what you called Adrenalin rush! “Once you step out on the court you have so much adrenaline going. The adrenaline kind of kills it. So I was surprised. I felt pretty good.” Williams added.

Niculescu did the best trick and techniques with a series of entertaining rallies however she failed. It is Serena Williams’ day indeed! She controlled the game effortlessly and luckily, she got it with 6-3, 6-1 winning scores.

Serena Williams will be back on court on Sunday to face the very young 15 year old Cici Bellis.

Murray loses to Simon in Rotterdam

Top seed twenty seven year old marvelous Andy Murray did not win over Gilles Simon and closed out a 6-4 6-2 scores in Rotterdam. This is Simon’s first win and had no troubles on serving commanding a 4-1 lead while Murray made many mistakes that resulted in losing this game. If you can remember Murray had won his last 12 matches against Simon but this time Gilles Simon upsets Andy Murray in this game undeniably as he has tons of energy to win this match. The game started in the foulest possible approach when Andy Murray tried his very best but lost his serve on the first set and still failed, same story in the second set and then in the third game it was breath-taking for all the fans as Murray battled against his worst nightmare when he pulled it back to deuce but Simon came through to take the second set 6-2 and wrap up a crushing defeat and still Simon managed to seal his fate ruthlessly.

Simon, seeded eighth, will face the Czech world number seven Tomas Berdych in the semi-finals, who was a 6-1 6-4 winner against Frenchman Gael Monfils.

Rafael Nadal stated “Playing with one of my best friends on tour is always very special.” While Juan Monaco said: “It’s an amazing feeling. I’m really happy and hopefully next year I can play again with my friend.”

This is Rafael Nadal’s fourth doubles title in Doha and ninth overall. “This has made it a positive week and I am going to be better prepared for Australia after winning this,” Rafael said after the 6-3, 6-4 winning score in the final of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open.

He also said that he can evolve faster with his movement by playing doubles and it helps to get the feeling of winning again. His goal is to arrive in Australia prepared and competitive and he also added “You can win, you can lose, but I am doing all the things I need to be ready for the action. It’s a big motivation to be back at my best level as quickly as possible, and that’s what I am trying to do.”

Djokovic Wins Year Ender

It was another piece of cake for Novak Djokovic again as he clinched the number one spot for the third time in the last four years and of course it is a remarkable one for him. His 6-2, 6-2 winning scores with Tomas Berdych made a bang in tennis world and sealed his year-end number one ranking. Djokovic mentioned that being in number one spot is the pinnacle of the sport and it was challenging and definitely a difficult one to maintain and to be on this spot, you need to be unfailingly healthy and effective. Djokovic got his trophy and US$1.92 million cheque but in point of fact this is not the way he likes to win as he feels sorry for Roger. He has been a great competitor and always gives his 101 percent when playing. “I’m not the kind of player to celebrate these wins, but I have to celebrate the whole season and this trophy is the crown on the season,” he added. He laso said “I believe everything happens for a reason. So I’m here for a reason, and I managed to finish the year as No. 1 for a reason,”

Federer takes Swiss to Victory

Roger Federer strikes again and this time he cannot count his achievements anymore. He is indeed the king  of tennis and everyone is so proud of him. Roger Federer win against Richard Gasquet with 6-4, 6-2 scores in one hour and fifty two minutes. Federer was in tears at the end of the match but this time is it tears of joy and he is giving everyone a remarkable moment. “This one is for the boys,” said Federer “This is not for me, I have won enough he added in one interview. Over sixteen years he added this victory to his seventeen majors and other garlands. On the fifth set, Gasquet gave all his best with evidence of sweat dripping from his brow but unfortunately it is not  a lucky day for Richard Gasquet as the marvelous Roger Federer controls the game. Federer stayed calm and assures his fans that he will bring home the victory and he succeed. Moreover the history has been sealed; in the end Roger Federer fell to the clay and blubbed like a baby plus a world record crowd of 27,448 watched Federer be the victor , beating the previous record of 27,432 set on Friday’s opening day.

Nadal Returns from Wrist Injury

I am much better! Murray said in one of his press conference on Saturday in Beijing. The evolution of the injury took a little bit of time, but that’s it. “I just feel the wrist a little bit when I am starting to play. The pain is still there but when I get the rhythm of the play it disappears he added.

If you remember, Rafael Nadal got his injured when he’s practicing at his home town in Mallorca. After three months of long wait he will now triumph over the tennis field and is set to return to action at the China Open.

“Beijing is always an important city in my career. Nadal won in 2005 and became the number one in the Emirates ATP Rankings. I feel comfortable here, I like the tournament and I like the city.” Rafael Nadal revealed. Nadal’s injury cannot stop him from competing especially now that he will be playing at his favorite city.

In addition to that, the best players are here so for sure he will not fail his fans and will rule the tennis world. Rafael Nadal will continue to practice often so that he will be able to get back on track and play perfectly.

Andy Murray and Kevin Anderson Match

The marvelous Andy Murray winning styles strikes back again in Wimbledon. The champion advanced to quarterfinals by winning against Kevin Anderson with 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (6) score. Murray needs one more round to meet and play against Novak Djokovic. He said all the matches are tough and everyone in the quarterfinals are playing top tennis. Andy needs to focus and gives his 200% for his challengers to get tense and have a hard time to take home the victory.

“Some days you get lucky with that,” Murray said. “Some days you don’t. You pretty much guess a lot of the time. Sometimes you go the wrong way and sometimes you go the right way, and thankfully today I picked a few good ones.”

This is the seventh time that Murray overcame the gentle giant’s serve and tactics to get to the Wimbledon quarter-finals.  Anderson wins the game as Murray hits a backhand longer while the Scot dare the call but it was only a waste of time.Indeed Murray is a very tough player and the opponent failed to win over him even if he did his best too.

The rain is teeming down outside and  Andy Murray’s fans were under umbrella while watching their hero win. They did not leave him  even if it rained and supported Murray all the way.

Truly year 2013 is Rafael Nadal’s moment to shine! Year 2013 has been a great one for him and he cannot count up his blessings any longer. In commemoration of the paper Marca.com 75 years, Rafael Nadal was chosen by their readers as the Greatest Spanish Athlete of All-Time or the “Legend Award” on night of Tuesday at Marca’s silver anniversary gala in Madrid. Rafael Nadal received a 25.6 per cent of full amount votes while the amazing Miguel Indurain on second rank along with NBA star Pau Gasol on third place.

Rafael Nadal speech was “I would like to thank everyone behind me and all those who aren’t here tonight because as well as tennis, I’m mad about sport in general,” Nadal said. “I have had some unforgettable afternoons thanks to all those who have taken Spain to the highest level in sport. Thank you so much because that excitement is what makes sport feel different.”

Rafael Nadal deserved this award as he showed exemplary performance that his fans beyond doubt enjoyed. He is a big example of a sportsman and everyone is more excited on what 2014 brings him. No one can own this title but him Vamos Rafa!

The Amazing Ideas of Roger Federer

He was born to win! Roger Federer as well as his fans is very optimistic that next year will be a great year for them. The thirty-two year old Swiss is not losing hope even if he went through a lot of struggles this year moreover indeed it has been tough for him but no one can bring it to an end. In fact, he is looking forward and preparing for next year.

Federer added “As long as I’m physically and mentally fine, there’s no reason for me not to be taking part in the big matches. That’s what I’m looking forward to in 2014, to be part of those matches.” Truly he is a confident one just like Novak Djokovic who never seems to disappear on big tournaments as well as Andy Murray who plays tennis seriously and lastly Rafael Nadal who obviously shocked all tennis fans for his blockbuster come back, Roger Federer should make sure that he is 101% prepared mentally and physically to achieve victory again. He may be ranked number 7 today but we will never know what 2014 have for him. He must stay positive and should really work the hardest that he can in every aspect and everything will fall into right place.

Everyone was amazed as the King of New York – Rafael Nadal overpowered Novak Djokovic to be the victor of the US Open for the second time with 6-2, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1. Even if he is playing with the top player in the world of tennis and that player is doing the whole thing right in the court, he will shock you with his power of hitting the tennis ball and return it effortlessly. Having thirteen glam slam titles, will you be of the same opinion that he is without a doubt the greatest male tennis player of all time?

He took seven months to rest because of his knee injury, and who would have thought that it was his way to success and that he will improved and play better than ever. Nadal also mentioned in an interview that he had to be almost perfect to win the game – “It means a lot for me have this trophy with me today. It’s just amazing. I’m very, very happy, and I just say thank you very much to everybody who helped me to make that possible. It’s a really special moment for me.”

Strategy wise, he really fiddles with his performance as well as his movements to strike the ace. Some call him Leonardo da Vinci of Tennis or Albert Einstein of tennis nevertheless Nadal is a great thinker and he really knows how to play his game.
