Top Seed Serena Williams into Semi Finals

The World’s number One Serena Williams produced another ruthless performance on Wednesday to reach the French Open semifinals at Roland Garros with a 6-1, 6-3 winning scores in a span of sixty five minutes contrary to Sara Errani. The aggressive Errani struggled on the first part and fought in her very best approach but then she had a troubled 15-0 scores. There were Ooohh’s and Ahhh’s from the best crowd while a forehand pass takes Serena to 15-30 scores. The thirty three year old American crowd’s favorite Serena Williams, finished off a definite victory on her fourth match point and just proved that she is too dominant for her Italian challenger. Errani did her best but it is still not enough for Williams’ clever approaches.

“It was very important for me to take a very good start,” said Williams, speaking in French during her on-court interview. “The last four French Opens in a row she’s been to the quarterfinals or better, so I knew I had to play very well today.”

Serena Williams is targeting her third title at Roland Garros, will then compete versus the twenty third seed and Switzerland’s favorite Timea Bacsinszky who won against Alison Van Uytvanck of Belgium with 6-4, 7-5 incredible scores.

Nishikori into Barcelona Final

Another fantastic performance from the World’s No. 5 Kei Nishikori after winning against Slovakia’s Martin Klizan with 6-1, 6-2 scores on Saturday. Kei is now a step closer and finally got a spot to his Barcelona title. Indeed Kei Nishikori has the best hands of any player since Andre Agassi. No doubt, fans are getting more excited with the kind of moves and tactics Kei is showing on this match. To tell the truth, Nishikori is too much for Klizan. Even if the opponent is doing his best to catch the rhythm, Kei knows how to play the game. He is very difficult to beat! He don’t panic which only shows what a real champion should be.

He started the opening set with a bang and wowed the audience with his excellent moves in twenty eight minutes. Klizan took the risk by going back and forth duel but Nishikori gave his great serve, delicate drop shot and wrapped it up to Sunday’s final and will try to win his 2nd Straight Barcelona title tomorrow against the winner of the all-Spanish clash between David Ferrer and Pablo Andujar.

Well done Kei Nishikori! Barcelona title is waiting for you. You can do it!

The Ultimate Cheat Sheet On Monte Carlo Field

The whole world is excited for the opening of the clay season this Sunday. With the result of the draw yesterday, the world’s two best clay court players, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are back at work in Monte Carlo and might face off in the semifinals. Aside from them, there are 16 awesome players of Top 20 in the Emirates ATP Rankings in the draw, how about that! For sure this will be the match of the year. Raise your hand if you are thrilled!

Djokovic who lived in Monaco is very happy to play because he spends most of his time here when not in any competitions. Guess what?! He just walk or ride a bike to the tennis court. For Novak this will be a great start to the season. “It takes time to adjust as any other switch from different surfaces. I think the key point is movement, to really get your muscles used to harder, more demanding physical work.”

For first quarters, the players to watch out for are Tsonga and Almagro. Nadal should practice harder and be more motivated for second quarter. Who are your picks for the third, fourth and semi?

What you Should KNow about the Masters of Tennis

The 2011 champion and master Roger Federer won against the talented 176th ranked Lucas Pouille in straight sets with 6-4, 6-4 scores and will forward to quarter finals of the Paris Masters together with master Novak Djokovic . Pouille did his best on some rounds but still Federer sealed his triumph with a deep serve. Roger Federer strikes with great shots but he definitely needs to improve his speed compared to Pouille’s. Nevertheless this does not stop Federer for taking home the bacon. Unquestionably Federer’s supporters are glad with the results and enjoyed this breath-taking match.

On the other hand, Novak Djokovic won also a straight set in opposition to Gael Monfils with 6-3, 7-6 scores in one hour and thirty two minutes. During their 11th meeting, Monfils did everything to win the game but still master Djokovic reigns. While David Ferrer is still on the right track and swept the Spanish Fernando Verdasco with 6-1, 6-2 scores. Fans are looking forward to see him in the semi-finals for the sure spot and will face the amazing Kei Nishikori. Nishikori once said in an interview; “I have speed and good footwork, and I think that’s tennis. Everybody plays different way, and I think that’s the fun thing, also for the crowd.”

Let’s wish them all luck and hoping for the best and most thrilling game in the tennis world.

Maria Sharapova knocked out by qualifier

Bacsinszky finally get her hands on her grandest victory by winning against the world number four  twenty seven year old, Russian Maria Sharapova with 7-6 (3) 7-5 scores.  Maria Sharapova doube faulted six times during first set. She was knocked out in the third round of the $24 million Wuhan Open and became the latest to exit the WTA Wuhan Open that made her fans cheerless.

Sharapova mentiond in one of her interviews that Timea Bacsinszky had a really good serving. I could  not shake her off. Incontrovertibly her biggest win of her career. Maria Sharapova’s defeat follows the exit of other seeds namely; Halep, Errani, Petkovic, Jankovic ending in a back injury and in addition to the alarming list is the world number one Serena Williams leaving the 1.5m because of a viral illness.

On the other hand, thrid seed Petra Kvitova won against Karolina Pliskova with 6-3 2-6 6-4 scores. Other victorious players are Cornet who won over the Belgium wildcard Flipkens with 7-6 (7-4) 1-6 6-3 scores.

Fans are asking what is happening to the Tennis world to the top tennis players?! The amazing players must do something in order  to get back on track and get their victory back.

Serena Williams to face Taylor Townsend in U.S. Open

Serena Williams was defeated against Ana Ivanovic at Australian Open then was lost all over again against Garbine Muruguza in Paris and another lost with Alize Cornet at Wimbledon. Will her next game be the last chance for the two-time defending champion Serena Williams? “These next two weeks I’m going to have to put that together for hopefully seven matches” Serena stated and she also added that if she does well then Serena will have the opportunity to be in the game for a long time. I always expect the best from myself.” “There’s always next year and the year after, so you don’t give up,” she said. “You just keep going and you keep fighting to continue to win more.” Such an inspiration to the young ones to not give up and always do their best in whatever they do! Her fans are all looking forward to her triumph as it is so hard to see her lose again.

The next match is going to be against the eighteen year old American Taylor Townsend which is an interesting opponent for Serena Williams. “She is such a great player, a lefty and young which makes her aggressive. This is going to be a refreshing game for Townsend whereas it is going to be an exciting game for me and to all tennis fans.

The Biggest Rivalry: Rafael Nadal VS Roger Federer

The elite season finale presents us the biggest rivalry in the world of tennis over the past decade and all the fans were thrilled and can’t wait for the result. The match gave us 7-5, 6-3 incredible scores of Nadal and Federer on Sunday afternoon at the World Tour Finals at London’s O2 Arena. Some says it is in fact a clash of the titans but without a doubt Nadal gave his 101% performance for his win. The comeback player of the year leaves no room for Federer to prevail whereas the latter need to assure his self to be at his most excellent act in order to be the victor but still failed.

Even so, Roger Federer feels like an underdog because of the situation as if you can remember the number of Nadal’s win over Federer extends to 21-10 and to 7-6 on hard courts. Furthermore in the game, Nadal showed his solid shots and Federer could not come up with it. He made an effort to stay consistent but had a hard time truly Nadal deserved his win. Now Rafael Nadal is one win away from getting the trophy will he be able to take hold of this remarkable chance? What do you think?

The quickest way I know to win Shanghai title

He defended his title and won over the marvelous Rafael Nadal in Beijing, China. At that time, he gave all over again an amazing game and conquered Del Potro with 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 (3) in two hours and thirty two minutes. He then works hard and always gives his most excellent skills to win his games and never fail to offer spectacular shots. Do you already know who this remarkable tennis player is? Of course you do! It is no other than Novak Djokovic. In addition to that, a lot is presuming that he is in fact lucky on this play offs. What it is about China. Why Djokovic is getting lucky and so on and so forth.

There are so many questions of the former world number one Novak’s  fans but let’s just say that today is his chance and no one can stop him! In one interview, he modestly said “I believe the game had an incredible final. I’m just very delighted to go out as a vanquisher from the tennis court from such a close match with scores 7-3. Nadal is playing wonderfully and even stronger and every person hopes that Djokovic will not fail and that he will end the tournament gloriously.

Rafael Nadal Targets Number One Slot

Two big names are combating to be the victor of the number one title in tennis world. 2005 titlist Rafael Nadal is thinking of an innovative and enhanced way on how to beat Novak Djokovic. Of course playing and giving his very best is one of his many weapons. We all know that in order for Novak Djokovic to succeed he must be successful and get the Beijing title and keep hold of his ATP ranking score.

Knowing that Nadal has been healthy playing tennis in years counting his win at the French Open, 21 straight hard-court matches as well as the US Open, without doubt Novak Djokovic will have a hard time defending his title. Is he really losing his top ranking? Will he ever get it back? Novak mentioned in an interview on Saturday that as long as there is an option he will not give up and go on with fighting for the title. “It is not over” he added. Nadal claim that he is playing forcefully adding a good pulse in his legs and in addition a lot of focus while playing will result to his most excellent serve.

If Nadal will go on with his perfect moves and serves just like how he played on the hard courts of America then there is no doubt that he will own the top rank next week. A lot of amazing matches are coming so let’s all wait and see whose name will be next on number 1 on rankings.
