Another fantastic performance from the World’s No. 5 Kei Nishikori after winning against Slovakia’s Martin Klizan with 6-1, 6-2 scores on Saturday. Kei is now a step closer and finally got a spot to his Barcelona title. Indeed Kei Nishikori has the best hands of any player since Andre Agassi. No doubt, fans are getting more excited with the kind of moves and tactics Kei is showing on this match. To tell the truth, Nishikori is too much for Klizan. Even if the opponent is doing his best to catch the rhythm, Kei knows how to play the game. He is very difficult to beat! He don’t panic which only shows what a real champion should be.

He started the opening set with a bang and wowed the audience with his excellent moves in twenty eight minutes. Klizan took the risk by going back and forth duel but Nishikori gave his great serve, delicate drop shot and wrapped it up to Sunday’s final and will try to win his 2nd Straight Barcelona title tomorrow against the winner of the all-Spanish clash between David Ferrer and Pablo Andujar.

With the result of the draw yesterday, the world’s two best clay court players, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are back at work in Monte Carlo and might face off in the semifinals. Aside from them, there are 16 awesome players of Top 20 in the Emirates ATP Rankings in the draw, how about that! For sure this will be the match of the year. Raise your hand if you are thrilled!

Djokovic who lived in Monaco is very happy to play because he spends most of his time here when not in any competitions. Guess what?! He just walk or ride a bike to the tennis court. If you can remember, Serena Williams withdrew at Indian Wells for semi-final because of her injury but now Serena played without a wrap on her knee. Serena said to one of the interviews that during her practice, there was a little sore but when she was in the game, she doesn’t not feel any ache nor any lingering effects. This is what you called Adrenalin rush! “Once you step out on the court you have so much adrenaline going. The adrenaline kind of kills it. So I was surprised. I felt pretty good.” Williams added.

Niculescu did the best trick and techniques with a series of entertaining rallies however she failed. It is Serena Williams’ day indeed! She controlled the game effortlessly and luckily, she got it with 6-3, 6-1 winning scores.

Murray loses to Simon in Rotterdam

Top seed twenty seven year old marvelous Andy Murray did not win over Gilles Simon and closed out a 6-4 6-2 scores in Rotterdam. This is Simon’s first win and had no troubles on serving commanding a 4-1 lead while Murray made many mistakes that resulted in losing this game. If you can remember Murray had won his last 12 matches against Simon but this time Gilles Simon upsets Andy Murray in this game undeniably as he has tons of energy to win this match. The game started in the foulest possible approach when Andy Murray tried his very best but lost his serve on the first set and still failed, same story in the second set and then in the third game it was breath-taking for all the fans as Murray battled against his worst nightmare when he pulled it back to deuce but Simon came through to take the second set 6-2 and wrap up a crushing defeat and still Simon managed to seal his fate ruthlessly.

Simon, seeded eighth, will face the Czech world number seven Tomas Berdych in the semi-finals, who was a 6-1 6-4 winner against Frenchman Gael Monfils.

The 2011 champion and master Roger Federer won against the talented 176th ranked Lucas Pouille in straight sets with 6-4, 6-4 scores and will forward to quarter finals of the Paris Masters together with master Novak Djokovic . During their 11th meeting, Monfils did everything to win the game but still master Djokovic reigns. While David Ferrer is still on the right track and swept the Spanish Fernando Verdasco with 6-1, 6-2 scores. Fans are looking forward to see him in the semi-finals for the sure spot and will face the amazing Kei Nishikori. Nadal Returns from Wrist Injury

I am much better! Murray said in one of his press conference on Saturday in Beijing. The evolution of the injury took a little bit of time, but that’s it. “I just feel the wrist a little bit when I am starting to play. The pain is still there but when I get the rhythm of the play it disappears he added.

If you remember, Rafael Nadal got his injured when he’s practicing at his home town in Mallorca. After three months of long wait he will now triumph over the tennis field and is set to return to action at the China Open.

“Beijing is always an important city in my career. Nadal won in 2005 and became the number one in the Emirates ATP Rankings. I feel comfortable here, I like the tournament and I like the city.” Rafael Nadal revealed. Nadal’s injury cannot stop him from competing especially now that he will be playing at his favorite city.

In addition to that, the best players are here so for sure he will not fail his fans and will rule the tennis world. Rafael Nadal will continue to practice often so that he will be able to get back on track and play perfectly.

Bacsinszky finally get her hands on her grandest victory by winning against the world number four  twenty seven year old, Russian Maria Sharapova with 7-6 (3) 7-5 scores.  Maria Sharapova doube faulted six times during first set. She was knocked out in the third round of the $24 million Wuhan Open and became the latest to exit the WTA Wuhan Open that made her fans cheerless.

Sharapova mentiond in one of her interviews that Timea Bacsinszky had a really good serving. I could  not shake her off. Incontrovertibly her biggest win of her career. Maria Sharapova’s defeat follows the exit of other seeds namely; Halep, Errani, Petkovic, Jankovic ending in a back injury and in addition to the alarming list is the world number one Serena Williams leaving the 1.5m because of a viral illness.

On the other hand, thrid seed Petra Kvitova won against Karolina Pliskova with 6-3 2-6 6-4 scores. Other victorious players are Cornet who won over the Belgium wildcard Flipkens with 7-6 (7-4) 1-6 6-3 scores.

She indeed showed her strong side, show no fear and defeated Vinci.  Wozniacki cited ”I served well and pushed her around the court,” at the hard-court Koza World of Sport Complex. In addition, Caroline Wozniacki mentioned  “I am happy to have won my 22nd WTA title — It is a great feeling!”

In Vinci interview she stated that tried to play aggressively like always, but made a lot of mistakes,”  “It is hard to play like that next to Caroline for the reason that she puts everything back in the court and it was tough for me to stay in the rallies today, but I’m happy with my week as well as Caroline just played much better than me.”

Wozniacki, ranked 15th in the world, now has an impressive haul of 22 WTA titles and will continue to perform marvelously and will make her fans prouder.

Novak Djokovic beats Rafael Nadal to win Italian Open in Rome

World No. 2 and the man of tennis, Novak Djokovic won over Rafael Nadal with 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, as they met for the 41st time in the final of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in two hours and 19 minutes. Rafael Nadal recovered his score through closing, did the best and tried to take home the victory but luck was not for him as Djokovic rules the match. It is the first time for Rafael Nadal since 2004 has lost more than two matches on clay.

Djokovic proved that he is stronger and unbeatable. Djokovic said in an interview “It’s a special moment to win this tournament. “I want to thank my team who are always close to me and give me tons of support throughout my career. None of this would be possible without them. “I’ve really appreciated the chance to play here over the years and this final was an incredible challenge. I hope to return next year, see you again.” This is indeed a start of luck and positive views after the depressing news where thirty five were dead in the severe flooding in their country.
